Lane Engineering LLC, a progressive, multi-disciplined firm offering residential and commercial land planning, engineering design, landscape design, environmental services, land surveying and construction management services welcomes three new specialists to their team.
Executive Human Resources/Accounting
Lane Engineering’s team is excited to welcome Gale to the newly created position of Executive Human Resources/Accounting Director. She is responsible for optimizing Human Resources, Accounting and IT. Gale comes to Lane Engineering with a Bachelors Degree in Business Management and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management. Past experience includes owning her own Human Resources Consulting business for the past 17 years and she has over 30 years’ experience in related fields.
As a specialist in payroll and accounting, Sharon is Lane Engineering’s new Office Accountant. Sharon is responsible for providing on-going support to Principals and to the Executive Human Resources/Accounting Director. She is responsible for all day to day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial statements, and report generation for principals and outside tax accountants. Sharon comes to Lane Engineering with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Past experience includes being a Controller for over 13 years. She has over 30 years’ experience in the accounting field.
Alec collaborates with fellow engineers, project managers, and drafters on a wide variety of individual, commercial, and public projects. He comes to Lane Engineering with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park. In addition to his E.I.T. License, he brings 3 years’ experience in a diverse portfolio of projects on both sides of the bay. As a native of the shore, Alec is a graduate of Talbot County Public Schools, an ACE Mentoring Program Alumnus, and longtime Chesapeake enthusiast. He looks forward to helping Lane Engineering enhance the community we all know and love.
Cindy has been named senior landscape architect/project manager. She will be working with Lane’s other project managers, landscape architects, planners, engineers, surveyors and design drafters on both private and public land development projects on the Mid-Shore. She will also assist with marketing and development of new and existing clients. She comes to Lane Engineering with a bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture and a master’s degree in urban planning. She is a licensed landscape architect in Maryland and in Delaware. Cindy came to Lane from the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control.
CAD Design Drafter
Chris, civil design and survey drafter, collaborates with fellow engineers, project managers and drafters on a wide variety of individual, commercial and public projects on the Mid-Shore. He comes to Lane Engineering with a minor in engineering and a strong background in site layout, site design and management. He is a graduate of the Community College of Baltimore County and Chesapeake Community College, and lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
Survey Field Technician
Mike joins the Lane Engineering survey team. As a member of the survey team, he visits multiple locations, as requested by clients, to take measurements and collect data of the land. The survey team’s efforts lay the groundwork necessary for surveyors, engineers, designers and project managers to deliver quality products to clients. Racine has a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science in recreation management with a marketing minor. He was born and raised on the Eastern Shore and is excited to be a part of its ongoing growth and development.
